Pool Installation Terms & Conditions
What's Included with Above Ground Pool Installation
- Pool delivery to site.
- Excavation of pool site (up to 8” out of level).
- Additional leveling: $25 per inch (up to 24”).
- Over 24” requires a custom bid for additional grading or excavation.
- Installation of skimmer, pump (excluding electrical hookup), and filter.
- Paver patio blocks for pool assembly.
- Installation of Rock Blocker & Pool Cove (if purchased).
- Installation within Lancaster County, NE.
- Additional mileage fee: $5 per mile (one-way) for locations up to 150 miles outside the county.
Not Included with Installation
- Any electrical work.
- Removal of rock, dirt, sand, or other debris from the property.
- Permits and survey fees.
- Gas line plumbing.
- Landscaping, grass replacement, or underground sprinkler repairs.
- Water supply or pool filling.
- Trash haul-off.
- Assembly and placement of steps (if purchased) into the pool after filling.
- Assembly and placement of any pool accessories.
- Removal or reinstallation of fence panels, posts, or temporary fence barriers.
Requirements Before Installation
- All permits required by city, county, state, and federal codes must be obtained by the homeowner.
- A 96” wide access path is required. If necessary, fence panels, posts, or temporary barriers must be removed before installation.
- Pool site and filter location must be marked in accordance with local codes prior to excavation.
- All underground utilities (electric, phone, cable, septic tank, etc.) must be clearly identified and marked before excavation.
- Masonry sand must be ordered and paid for by the homeowner, with delivery scheduled before installation.
- Sand must be placed within 20 feet of the pool site, but not directly on the excavation area.
- The homeowner must furnish water and fill the pool to the proper level (approximately one-third up the skimmer opening) before starting the filter system.
- Sprinkler heads, wires, and other obstacles must be removed from the excavation area.
- The homeowner must review and understand the Above Ground Pool Installation Quick Reference Guide before installation.
Additional Charges & Considerations
- If an obstruction is encountered after excavation has begun, the following options may apply:
- The site may be moved for a $200 relocation fee. The original site will be rough-graded at no additional cost.
- If no suitable site is available, the excavator can rough-grade the site back to its approximate original contour for a $200 show-up fee.
- Tree removal, concrete removal, existing footings, or unknown structure excavation is not available.
- Damage to the pool and/or liner caused by tree roots, nut-grass, insects, animals, dry cracks, drainage neglect, or acts of nature is not covered under any warranty.
- Pool disassembly and removal of an existing above-ground pool is available for a fee of $500, payable directly to the installer.
- Hauling off a disassembled pool is subject to an additional fee as quoted by the installer.
- Pools placed against existing decks will incur a $75 per rail charge for alignment.
Important Notes
It is the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure all site preparations are completed prior to installation. Any unforeseen site conditions or required adjustments may result in additional costs. Supreme Spa & Pool and its installation partners are not responsible for delays or extra charges due to incomplete site preparation, permit issues, or customer-related obstacles.
By proceeding with pool installation, the customer agrees to these terms and acknowledges that additional costs may apply based on site conditions and project requirements.
